Opening of the Scooter pods and Mini pods

On the morning of Monday 19th April, it was very exciting indeed!  It was the grand opening of the Scooter pods and Mini pods!  The lucky pupils to officially open the facilities and lead the ceremony were the winners of the futuristic bike or safety wear competition:

    • Tejinder from 6AO
    • Jujhar from 5PR
    • Jaskiret from 1KV (who unfortunately wasn’t able to make the opening ceremony)

Now the Scooter pods and Mini pods are officially be open for pupils to use!  There are 60 spaces for scooters and 8 spaces for bikes which are on a first come, first served basis.  We have received some exciting feedback from the pupils happily scooting/cycling to school.

Remember, there are many health benefits to cycling or scooting to school!  But please remember to follow the Scooter Smart Code!

Our football team used all of their skills from their weekly after school club to take part in 6 games where in each they played brilliantly. As a team they represented the school well by showing great sportsmanship, enthusiasm and excellent football skills. Unfortunately, we did not reach the finals but the team all had a fantastic time.

Thank you to the parents for their support both at the match and before and a massive well done to: Raul, Balraj, Paramveer, Gurleen, Gursharon, Sukhraj and Surkarb.
