Year 5 takes part in an Air Quality Research Project.
Year 5 welcomed visitors from the charity Global Action Plan on 7th February to share ideas about making the school's air cleaner.
The school applied for, and was chosen to take part in, an exciting research project that is being carried out by the Global Action Plan charity. This is a charity that is actively working to protect our planet.
We were chosen as one of 20 schools across the country to take part in charity’s latest school project that focuses on air quality. On the 7th of February, ambassadors from the charity visited the school to give a presentation and workshop to Year 5 students as well as inform them about the high-tech apparatus (air purifier) that is currently in their classroom as part of the research project.
They have even given the purifier a name and have chosen ‘Bob’!
